Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small piece of text a site asks your browser to keep and send back on your next visit. Some of what we store is not technically a cookie — a couple of preferences live in your browser's local storage instead — but the same explanation applies, so both are covered here.

These are required for the platform to work. There is no way to turn them off and still have an account.

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. It is set so your browser will not expose it to scripts and will not send it to other sites, which is what stops it being stolen by a malicious page. Removing it signs you out.
• Security cookies — used to verify that a form was submitted by you, from our site.

These remember choices you made. They stay on the device you made them on and are never sent to us.

• Sound settings — whether effects and music are on, and the volume.
• Theme — whether you chose light, dark, or to follow your system.

Clearing them resets those choices to their defaults. Nothing else is affected.

We use analytics to understand which parts of the platform are used and where people get stuck. This is about aggregate behaviour, not about following an individual.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or global privacy signal, we treat that as an objection to analytics.

• We do not sell what we store in your browser.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
• We do not use cookies to build a profile of you across other websites.

Every browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data, usually under privacy settings. Blocking cookies for this site will sign you out and prevent you signing back in, because the session cookie is how we know it is you.
